New Babies & New Starts

I have been sitting here trying to decide where to start my first blog and it is definitely harder than it looks! Advice from friends is to keep it personal and not too long so here goes!

As you know, after leaving my job in the City last year, I was excited to think about a new start and hopefully something more rewarding than sitting at a desk all day. I took some time out to enjoy being with my little girl over the summer and spent the autumn trying to figure out just what I wanted to do. Every time I thought about what I enjoyed, what interested me and what I was passionate about, I kept coming back to photographing children.

The last few months I have been busy organising the business side of things (not easy for us creative souls) and ordering in lots of new and exciting props and photography equipment. Im almost done and ready to start taking bookings which is so exciting. I can't wait to get started and show you all the wonderful images from my sessions.

So, I have been thinking about what I will use this blog for and have a few ideas. As well as some information on my sessions and some sneak peeks, I am hoping to get some special monthly guest bloggers on board, covering things like:

  • pregnancy tips

  • healthy nutritional ideas for mummy and baby

  • fashion for children

  • Information and reviews of local baby class

  • information on days out and things to do with small children

If there is anything you would like to see or hear about, then feel free to drop me a message using the contacts tap at the top of the website.

I'm off now to get organised for a bluebell session with my little bean which I am excited about! Its become a bit of an annual tradition and its lovely seeing how much Isabelle has changed year after year and also a reminder that time passes by so quickly and we need to make lots of special memories.
